Lama Field Studio was founded in 2016 to support decisions that are difficult to reverse: new tracks, changed drainage, replanted slopes. We work in small teams, usually one researcher and one draughtsperson, and we publish our methods so that others can repeat them.
Our archive holds more than four hundred site notebooks from the Baltic states, the Alps and the Caucasus. We do not sell data; we help read it.
The studio is based in Tallinn and keeps a second desk in Tbilisi.
